Modes of Operation
YesIT can be engaged on an adhoc basis or clients can join our Managed Service programs where we pro-actively manage your IT systems. These services offer better value through cheaper rates and, a more formal customer / client arrangement with additional benefits to both parties.
YesIT implements and recommends the use of technologies that make your systems more reliable and less prone to failure. These maximise the availability of systems, reduce risk of and criticality of failure. Recommended technologies include: the use of quality hardware with in built redundancy, automatic business wide antivirus solutions, internet firewall, spam filtering and UPS power protection to name a few. Remote control & monitoring technologies enable us to monitor and resolve system alerts in a timely manner.
Preventative Managed Services
Pro-active monitoring and maintenance of systems vastly improves the reliability and availability of computer environments. The likelihood of problems is reduced and more importantly, the severity of them is also. Maintenance includes: monitoring backups, system performance, services availability, monitoring / updating antivirus solutions and performing patch management (ie installing security and system update patches).
Generally work is performed between the hours of 8:30am-5:30pm Mon-Fri. Work performed within these times will be charged at the standard rate as per the charging schedule. In addition Saturday and Sunday work may be at standard rates PROVIDED it is planned project work that is scheduled in advance. If a callout to your premises is made outside of 8:30am-5:30pm Mon–Fri (ie emergency situation) then emergency rates of time + .5 are chargeable with no minimum time.
YesIT Contact Options
Electronic monitoring solutions will be established to alert YesIT of impending issues. Clients can create job tickets online, via phone, fax or email. The criticality of the problem will govern the urgency and priority of our attending to the problem.
